Delete Your Project Beacon Account

1. Sign in to Project Beacon.
2. Open Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and select Delete my account.
4. Confirm by selecting Yes, delete everything.

If you can’t sign in to Project Beacon, you can request account deletion by contacting:

support@joinprojectbeacon.com

Please send the request from the email address associated with your Project Beacon account whenever possible. We may need to verify that you own the account before processing a deletion request.

When your Project Beacon account is deleted, account-associated data is removed in accordance with Beacon’s deletion process. Based on the current implementation, this includes data such as:

• Your Project Beacon profile
• Gamer DNA data
• Games associated with your account
• Connections and relationship records
• Blocks and favourites
• Notification registrations on your devices
• Beacon and Clan membership records
• Your stored profile picture
• Other account-associated records that are configured to be removed through the account-deletion process

Not every record is necessarily erased immediately — some limited records may be retained as described below.

Certain limited information may be retained where necessary for:

• Security and abuse prevention
• Enforcement of Project Beacon’s rules
• Fraud prevention
• Legal or regulatory compliance
• Maintaining legitimate moderation and reporting records

For example:

• Certain moderation, reporting, or enforcement records may be retained according to Project Beacon’s documented retention periods.
• If another member has an existing conversation containing messages you previously sent, portions of that conversation may remain, with your account identity removed or disassociated from it, as provided by Beacon’s deletion implementation.
